have it scanned usually this is a problem with the throttle actuator

I'm an owner who had this problem on / off for a year. Several returns to dealership proved hopeless. Service shop devulged that '03 Avalanches had a overall electric problem that could not be detected. I legally forced dealership's hand...They replaced the entire wiring harness at no cost. No problem since. George

if you put it in with the wire harness that plugs into the trucks harness you have to make sure the amp turn on wire is connected from the radio to the harness if the amp isnt on you get no sound, if you didnt buy the harness and cut into the trucks wires you could have a problem, check all radio and amp fuses also

i have same exact problem in my 2003 suburban , i cant figure it out .

check the lil switch that'll be located on the latch anchor point or within a few inches of it.... odd is the switch is faulty

Have you check the mute mode, maybe it is in mute mode.

The rear doors will not lock with the keyless remote, the drivers master switch
