Check speedometer cable to see if its loose. If not, replace speedometer. Find a pick A Parts in your area to replace or local Auto Store. YouTube is a great place to learn installation.

Welcome to Fixya

Most common problem for this would be the clock spring. Do a code check. If air bag light on and or the horn dont work for sure clock spring need replacement. Clock spring is located in the steering wheel under driver air bag module (remove air bag, remove steering wheel, remove clock spring ). Air bag codes require a scanner and an OBDII reader will not get you air bag codes
stop by a local repair shop they should have the scanner to communicate with air bag module and pull any codes for you.

Speedometer going crazy

USA or non USA car. not knowing this makes answers , all wrong.
define crazy.?
if bouncing like mad"? is
1: the cable to it bad. if cable good ,speed is bad, (tests, ask)
2: if the cable gets bad enough the CEL comes on and shows bad VSS. (DTC) veh.speed sensor, dead.
oops 99 is a cust year,
every page in fsm (related) shows if equipped.
cable speed (old school)
electric gauge, no cable. new cars. cusp year.
that means , one looks for the cable to the
tranny or to the not stated 4wd transfer case.

if its a 100% electric gauge
and crazy means bouncing?
its:
A: bad meter.
B: bad power to meter (or loose fuse or speedo connector plug)
C: Bad ECU (hah)
D: vss input to ECU is crazy,

or go to alldata.com and read, its all there. RTM.

Speedometer bounces from current speed down to zero (where it sometimes sticks)

It won't be a cable, as it's impossible for a cable driven speedo to perform this way.
It's an electronic speedo.

Check and/or replace the speedo sensor in the gearbox housing.

1993 jeep grand cherokee laredo, straight 6 engine. rolls back at times when in park with ebrake on.. bought it used. has a SEVERE case of bouncing speedometer. It would appear the previous owner removed...

Whether you have a drive shaft on or not the roll back is the ebrake not properly working like it should it will need a adjustment, and as for the bouncing speedometer you will need to inspect the cable as they can wear out.

I have a 1998 Jeep Gran Cherokee, that while running, I hear water sloshing around when I turn the heater fan on. I don't see any leaks, carpets are all dry, no coolant leaks, etc. Ideas what it could...

It's air in your heater core. With truck running and radiator cap off, top off radiator with coolant. My take 10-15 mins but that will help bleed air from system.

My dash board of my grand cherokee laredo 2003 went crazy. guages started to move after i have had pull out the keys.. then i drove and stop and turn off the engine and shot down completelly... what can i...

I have had this problem a few times on my 2003 Grand Cherokee. After the guages go crazy then the thing will not start. First two times I replaced the battery and it fixed the problem for a short time. The real problem was corrosion on the battery cable(positive/red cable) I took some Coke and a wire brush and cleaned the cable, ends and battery terminal. This fixed the issue.
