Battery is replaced in keyfob and the current situation is that I disconnect the battery so that flashing headlight wont drain my battery!!! HELP
Okay, I actually had this problem and solved it...unlike the rest of these other answers that are just there to see themselves on a board. This happened to me when I replaced the battery on my 2006 Durango. My bottom rear lights were flashing and so were my headlights (similar to hazards, but not the hazards). I also noticed that the radio was non-operational. Here is my solution (it worked for me when nothing else worked): 1. Make sure your battery terminals are on correctly and are properly secured to your battery. 2. From outside the vehicle, close all the doors to the vehicle. Make sure everything is closed properly, including the rear liftgate (the hood can stay open). 3. On your keyfob, press the red emergency button. Your car will immediately start blaring the horn and will engage the same flashing lights. 4. Press the same red emergency button to turn off the emergency light/horn sequence. 5. Then lock and unlock the vehicle (not sure this one is necessary, but this is what I did). After doing so, everything went back to normal. The rear and headlights were no longer flashing, the red dot to the right of the instrument panel was no longer flashing, etc.
You need to connect the battery. Lock and unlock the car with the remote. That will cause the ani-theft to stop flashing the lights. It does, however, stop after 3 minutes. That is, until you disturb the vehicle again. Then it starts the 3 minutes again. You need to get the remote out, and lock the doors and unlock the doors. Done.

It is acually called the vehicle speed sensor I do believe. It should should be located on the top of your transmission with a wiring harness attached to it. It should also have 1 bolt holding it in also. Whatever you do, do not rotate the gear when you remove it. Try to mark the exact way it came out when you replace the sensor. When you pull the sensor out it will have this gear attached to it which will need to be placed into the new sensor and put back into the vehicle in the same way it came out or you will throw a code and it will not be pretty. Good luck, hopefully I didn't scare you it can be a simple repair just mind your P's and Q's.

I had the same problem with my STS. Go back through your programing menu and "check" remote start again. Somehow, mine defaulted to not allowing remote start feature. It was good to go as soon as I re-programmed it.

I had a similar problem on my 2001 Caravan. Turned out to be a loose connection between the frame control module and the fuse box. I unscrewed the frame/front control module from the fuse box and bent the tabs slightly to make better contact. Then tighten down the module securley. Need star driver to loosen screws

take wire harness apart underseat that connects to seatbelt on drivers side. then take a piece of aluminum foil and stuff it into male part so it makes contact with both prongs and plucg connection back together..problem solved!!!!!!
