SOURCE: Resetting the oil change monitor in the information centre after an oil change

With the van on, (it does not have to be running.) press the maint button untill the oil miles is showing. Hold down the maint button untill it resets. You can also press the joystick over left or right to set the amount of miles between oil change. Trip reset should do the same as well for the oil and tires.

SOURCE: reset change oil soon light 2001 saturn L-200

Under the hood, next to the battery, is a fuse box. Lift the lid (instructions are on the lid) and with the keyswitch on but the engine not running, press and hold the button that says "oil". The book says 5 seconds, but hold it for about 10. If someone is watching the dash lights while you do that, the change oil light should flash briefly.

SOURCE: reset change oil light

hello, here is the instructions on how to reset the light

When the system has calculated that oil life has been diminished, it will indicate that an oil change is necessary. A CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will come on. Change the engine oil as soon as possible within the next 600 miles (1000 km). It is possible that, if driving under the best conditions, the oil life may not indicate that an oil change is necessary for over a year. However, the engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year and at this time the system must be reset.
If the system is ever reset accidentally, change the engine oil at 3000 miles (5000 km) since last oil change.
To reset the Engine Oil Life System, do the following:

  1. Turn the ignition to ON, with the engine off.
  2. Slowly fully press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
  3. The reset is complete when the chimes sound and the CHANGE OIL lamp goes out. If the lamp stays on and no chime is heard, repeat the reset procedure.
  4. Turn the key to OFF.
If the CHANGE OIL lamp comes back on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.

My nissan quest 2001 washer fluid light stay on even when the water level is full. How do I reset it.

There is nothing to reset. It should go out once it is filled. If it doesn't there is something wrong with the float or wiring to it.

Service engine soon, TCS off, SLIP

The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.

There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.
