2003 rendezvous fuel pump reset switch location

Common issue for Rendezvous is a faulty fuel sending unit, sometimes referred to as a fuel module (fuel pump, pump filter, float, sending unit, all sold together as a preassembled unit). Go to your local auto parts store. Most have a scanner/code reader that they can connect to your vehicle to download any fault codes.

In the pictures above, I have the fuse layout for the fusebox under the hood of the vehicle (Believe its the same one you have on your video. I have marked with a red arrow the location of the fuse dealing with the fuel pump. Also marked with a yellow arrow is the location of the fuel pump relay. In the other picture I have is the location of the fuel pump cut off switch which is like a circuit breaker and where you see the arrow pointing down in that picture is the reset switch which you have to push down if that has popped in order to reset it. Possible fuel pump relay or fuse check for 12volts at pump if not suspect power issues if there is power and you can hear it hum injectors not pulsing of security system issues

If it was otherwise running OK up to this point, and just suddenly died, it's probably fuel delivery system related.

Start by checking cranking fuel pump pressure. If no (or very low) reading, consider replacing fuel filter. Then check again for fuel pressure. If readings uncharged from initial check, you may have a failed fuel pump.

Could be a lot of different things, but space doesn't permit listing all.

In my opinion, this is a logical place to start looking.

Replace the fuel filter first unless your fuel pump is not working. The fuel pump is located in the gas tank, so check the fuses first and fuel pump relay before starting on replacing the fuel pump to ensure it's not electrical. Fuel pumps has a life expectancy of around 150,000 miles and if your over or close to that mile, your fuel pump may just be at the end of it's life. Good luck and keep me posted.

if you heard the pump befiore ( that hum near the rear) than most likely the pump has burned out , i would have it tested and replaced if needed

FUEL PUMP SHUT-OFF SWITCH FUEL
RESET
The fuel pump shut-off switch is a device intended to stop the electric
fuel pump when your vehicle has been involved in a substantial jolt.
After a collision, if the engine cranks but does not start, the fuel pump
shut-off switch may have been activated.

If your vehicle is a sedan, the fuel
pump shut-off switch is located on
the right side of the trunk behind
the trunk liner.
If your vehicle is a wagon, the fuel
pump shut-off switch is located
behind the service panel on the
right side of the cargo area.
Use the following procedure to reset the fuel pump shut-off switch.
1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Check the fuel system for leaks.
3. If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the fuel pump shut-off switch by
pushing in on the reset button.
4. Turn the ignition to the ON position. Pause for a few seconds and
return the key to the OFF position.
5. Make a further check for leaks in the fuel system.
