Straight up from the hood release is the "low power" fuse box. A latch cover hides/protect the fuses.
There's also a "high power" fuse box behind the battery, also with a latch cover to protect it. These fuses are of a much higher rating/amperage than the "low power" fuses.
You might need to get an owners manual as it spells out what each fuse does in detail.

Open hood , passenger side firewall area, look for a thin,black vacuum line, follow it and look for any breaks or bad connection to its vacuum source. repair as necessary.

Check to see if the top motor is running when you press the top up switch. Car has to be in park with emergency brake engaged. If motor runs but top will not move or binds then one or both of the lift cylinders are bad. Usually there will be hydraulic fluid leaking from the cylinders if one or both will not hold pressure. Replace cylinders if bad. The top could probably be manually closed if the lift cylinder arms are detached from the top frame.
If motor does not run when the switch is pressed then check your fuses, the switch and the connector at the top motor to see if it is getting power.

not without breaking it

Use two large thin metal putty knives on either side of a hacksaw to protect the vinyl. Put the saw blade between them and cut thru both sides of the U shaped latch. After cutting thru both sides of the U shaped lock the door will open. You can buy a new brace from www.FCPGroton.com (listed under interior mechanical). Take the door off of the dash. Remove the door liner screws and door liner to expose then locking mechanism. >> Pay close attention to how all the gears and levers come out. Reverse install the new hardware. Reinstall the door to the dash.

check the motor for power is all i know about the window. for the glovebox there should be a small lever in the latch that hooks something on the glovebox grab that and pull the handle that opens the box and the latch should release

check freon in system if not enough freon compressor wont kick in
