remove cover plate and observe your old cord has 3 wires the the 2 outside one are the power/voltage 120v each one and the center is neutral...........you 4 cord has 1-black 1-red 1-white 1-green put the black and the red to the outside connections on the block white goes to the center and the green just attachs to the metal casing on the dryer if you are not completely sure get someone who is because if wrong it could cause a fire or burn something in dryer as always in all my advice if you are not sure get or pay someone who is...............fixrguy
