it should be the small green relay that is on the inner passenger side fender

Does it have a single or dual tank. Carb or Fuel Injection?
SOURCE: where is the fuel pump relay on a 1992 ford tempo?
The fuel pump relay is part of a large relay control unit called the IRCM (intagrated relay control module)
The module is about 6"x4"x2" and has gobs of wires (large retangular connector) coming out of it, the module is mounted on a bracket under the hood that is bolted to the top of the driver's side front strut tower, this module can be self tested by a dealer to see if it is bad, they seldom fail, I am a Ford dealer tech and have only replaced 2 in 20 years, Tempo does however have a fuel pump issue..
