1954 is the starting point in creating the new range of trucks by Mercedes-Benz. Everything started with light upgrade and rename of the previous series. The L3500 and L4500 models have received three-digit numeric codes - L311 and L312, which indicated the type of installed engine. The design of trucks has not changed (externally can be distinguished only by windscreen wipers, installed from below, not from above as on the previous version). There was also a four-wheel drive LA version. In 1954, a 4.6-liter diesel engine, installed on fire chassis "L311F", has received a turbocharger for the first time, which increased power from 100 to 115 hp. Totally about 175 thousand trucks of L311/L312 models have been made.

1965 Lincoln Continental A new grille and parking lights are mounted as a single unit in the front fenders and the lines of the new front grille form one horizontal unit on the 1965 Lincoln Continental. The rear styling evolved into an uncluttered look with a clean sweep of metal framed by new ribbed taillights. Inside the interior scheme reflects attention to detail. Upholstery was available in new Moire fabric, new leathers and traditional wool broadcloth while carpets are molded door-to-door in one seamless piece.
The Continental was America's only 4-door convertible provides the interior space and comfort of the 4-door sedan with the ease and luxury of an automatic convertible. Along with its four center-opening doors and the largest rear passenger compartment of any convertible made. Convertible tops came in black, white, blue or tan.

Could be many things. Start bu check to see if the fuel system is operating correctly. If it is okay, than the problem may be with the timing or engine valves.

If yours is a Mikuni carb, here's what I did to make my choke work manually on a 1986 Plymouth Voyager:

you should have battery power going into ign switch. if you do not then your wiring from switch to battery is open somewhere. i cant pull a schematic on this but would assume it is not connecting thru a junction block trace this wire back to its source and find where you are losing power
