I am not familiar with working on this particular make/model but others I have done I usually prime the oil pump before installation. Other than that, if the oil pump is in the sump, make sure the gasket between the pump body and the engine is good otherwise the pump will be sucking air. Cheers

SOURCE: 2000 Sunfire coolant problem. Engine overheating,

ok, its time for a radiator flush. there is major sludge in the internals of this radiator. Make sure the thermostat is in the correct position as well. I've seen many cars come into my shop with the thermostat inserted backwards.

SOURCE: Overheating and water mixed in with oil

Blown head gasket will cause this so will a warped head, unproperly torqued bolts on the head, or even a crack in the block.

SOURCE: water/oil mixing in 22r engine

yes it can mix, also check the timing cover for rubs from the timing chain. this is the common problem with 22r. many mechanics will tell you its the block but they are just trying to make money.

SOURCE: oil appearing in radiator, 4afe engine, is there awater gallery behind oil pump? checked head gasket looked fine

Since there is way more pressure from the oil pump than there is pressure in the cooling system oil can leak into the cooling system and coolant not leak back due to the pressure differential. It is very easy to have a head gasket leaking and not see where the leak was with a visual inspection after disassembly. I would inspect the head for cracks and if it is ok clean the block and head and have the head checked for warpage and if it is ok replace the head gasket and you should be good to go.

Nissan Maxima. Can a water pump or thermostat cause mixing oil and water?

Question edited for clarity.

No to both. The water pump is chain driven and takes water from one side and pumps it out under pressure from the other. The thermostat is fully enclosed in a housing with no access to oil.

Oil in Coolant only comes from a failed head gasket where the oil and water channels are in close proximity and under combustion pressure of hundreds of pounds.

Water pumps are designed to pump water through the engine, radiator, and heating system. Water pumps will not cause oil to enter the cooling system.Oct 4, 2016

2006 Toyota Avanza is mixing oil with the cooling system in the radiator. Do i need to replace the oil cooler?

This will depend on if the cooler is air cooled or water cooled. With water cooled setups, yes, you will probably need to replace it.
With Air cooled setups if oil is mixing with coolant the problem is somewhere else on the engine. The most likely place would be the head gasket.

What can be the couse of mix oil and water on avanza 2008 1,5 pls urgently

Blown head gasket most likely. Cars with automatic transmissions also have a trans cooler part in the radiator that can leak trans fluid into the coolant. Look for watter in the engine oil or the trans to know which you have.
