SOURCE: LOW BEAM LIGHTS ON 2009 FORD ESCAPE VERY POOR.

If the headlights are adjusted properly and it is still too dim to see properly, you can add a set of driving lights. A high quality set from PIAA or other high end lighting manufacturers will cost $200-$300, but it is well worth the investment. You can also swap the headlamp bulbs for a more powerful set, ask the parts store.

If your lights are shining at the ground right in front of the vehicle, I would suspect that they are out of adjustment and you should take the vehicle to a shop that can accurately align them.

SOURCE: 2008 Ford Escape Horn Fuse keeps blowing after

I would trace the wire from the horn and see if it was inadvertently damaged when the alternator was installed. If you have a voltmeter, you can remove the horn fuse and check to see if there is continuity between the horn (non hot side) of the fuse and the car body. This would indicate a short in the wire running from the fuse box to the horn. You can also look around the alternator mounting area to see if any wires are being pinched. Hope this helps. Good luck!

SOURCE: 2003 ford escape. radio and sideview mirrors don't

I recently had same problem. It was caused from water getting into the fuse panel and shortening out the ACC Relay. You need to check the ACC relay for any moisture and replace. Then open drivers side door and look at water Chanel coming off driver door. Is there holes in the front side panel? Water comes off the rail right into that panel right into your fuse box. ACC Relay is Black and rectangular shaped. It is located on driver side behind kick plate in fuse box. You do not need to disconnect battery to replace it. Cost under 10 bucks at parts store. Make sure key is off.

SOURCE: 2009 ford escape turn signals and brake lights work but no taillights checked bulbs look good no where in owners mannual does it list tailight fuse or location

I think your problem locating the fuse may be because Ford refers to the lights you are describing as "PARK" lamps, instead of "TAIL" lamps. The PARK fuse is Fuse #22 (15 Amp) located in the Smart Junction Box (SJB) in the center of the dash.

HINT: This same fuse also protects the circuits your front park lamps, if they are working, the fuse is not blown.

2009 ford escape read empty after refueling to full tank

Sounds like it's the fuel level sensor in the tank that measures that for the dashboard. It's either that or it's a different issue. Could even be a fuse or relay that's bad. Check your fuses first, just in case.

Where is the fuse located for the windshield wiper pump on a 2009 ford escape

Hard to believe that both of my motors went bad at the same time.

BTW, the first answer dealing with "From your owners manual:" (from Dennis Weid) is incorrect. From MY owners manual (2009 Ford Escape):
Fuse #11 - 10A Four Wheel Drive (I have 2 wheel drive)
Also, there is no relay #202 in the owners guide. The start with 'A' and 'B' and then run from 1 - 37.
I don't know where the responder got their information, but it is not accurate when comparing to my 2009 Owners Guide. Please correct this.
I have reviewed my Owner's Guide listing of Fuses and Relays and find absolutely zero reference to the circuits regarding the pumps. Thanks Ford.
