check your spark plugs. If you take them out and the plug is fried, you should replace them. I had a similar problem with a misfire a few months ago, and ever sinceI changed the spark plugs, wires and air filter, the car runs great now.

There may not be any other way to fix it except to replace your instrument panel. That's where your immobilizer is located. Or you could try this:

Try cold-booting the car. Remove both battery cables from the battery. Short the battery cables together (away from the battery) for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the battery. No guarantees - I found this info at tdiclub.com.

dealer only ,might get away with a re programme of the chipped key ,worst case scenario is a new ECU

when you are looking at the engine pull off the plastic cover on top then the front cover that covers you timing belt there is a wire harness tha goes right to it in the left upper coner two ten mil bolts and it comes off careful not to drop bolts down in belt that could be bad. it is that easy

It would be easier if you mention what device you're working with and I can tell you what number location it's fuse is at. Symbols are only there to confuse the hell out of you, although it's true purpose is to be recognized as a global standard. Now if you want to make it easier for yourself, buying a Bentley's repair manual is the only way to go. I hate to tell you that there are no free manuals you can down load, it cost money and someones time to upload a manual just to share it freely on the net.

No it is not a fuse problem it is most likely a defective cluster, it is computer controlled.

Rpm s dont work on dash

this is most likely to be a sensor coming from your engine. im not sure where it is though.
