SOURCE: 2004 Chrysler Pacifica: Gear is stuck in park-

This car has several points on the transmission that look similar to the drain plug. If they removed the plug on the driver's side rear of the transmission, then they dropped a linkage from the transmission drive train and it is now sitting on top of the valve body instead of falling into place when you attempt to reverse. Have it checked by a certified transmission shop to verify this is the problem, then I would strongly advise you to make the lube shop pay for the repairs if it is. Hope this helps, good luck!

SOURCE: Engine light came on recently and Jiffy Lube guys

If the check engine light came back on after the computer was reset you need to take it and have the code read to see what the problem is. Most auto parts stores will check it for you free such as Autozone, O'riely, Pep Boys.

SOURCE: CAR JERKING AROUND 30,000 MILES

We have a 2007 Elantra company car with the same trouble jerking around 35-40. Went to dealer many times they said change Trans fluid it had 33k miles. Cost us $170. Did not fix it. Then they said it would need a new trans would not give back money for trans service. They put new trans in under warranty picked up car was still the same went back more times they said #3 spark plug was bad this I was told twice. I had had it with the dealer ship and demanded they find the trouble here it was a bad spark plug wire on #3 they replaced all the wires and #3 spark plug for the 3rd time and problem went a way. This dealer ship change a transmission for spark plug wirre i hope your dealership is better then this one

How do I fix the Variable valve timing on 2008 saturn vue

Jiffy Lube is not a diagnostic shop

Take to a local repair shop that has been
in some place for 25 years

That is not something you can to yourself

The codes are used to diagnose the faults

I would suggest you never use a Jiffy lube or
other quick lube places, they could ruin your vehicle
& all of them have for decades ,been subject to many
fraud investigations

Call their corporate head quarters and LET THEM HAVE IT! Remember though many businesses record incoming calls for "Quality Control Purposes". I also HIGHLY recommend that you call the States Attourney in the state where you reside, they are paid by your tax dollars and they DO NOT play around. Unlike the Better Business Bureau your States Attourney can take legal action and fight for you.

Charge light comes on 1987 toyota truck

In most cases if your charge light comes on, it is telling you something in your charging system is not working properly. This is most likely your alternator belt to loose or broke, or alternator it self if belt is ok and snug, and finally your battery not maintaining a good charge. Simplest and easiest way to find out, is to take car to any service place, like battery exchange, oil can Henry or jiffy lube type of places. Yes you can take it to dealers, but they like to charge you. If you find one of those small chain type lube and oil places you see in almost any town, they can put a amp meter on your alternator and check your battery and all connections for FREE. that will tell you what needs adjusting, fixed or replaced. I hope this helped. Thanks Mike, from fixya

Alright I'm some what ignorant when it comes to cars. I have a 99 chevy blazer 4wd power everything. My heat works fine and dandy. My AC on the other is not cold. It's warm. I also get some weird...

Sounds like you have a dying blower motor. That explains the whining in the dash. But if it's not cooling, bring it back to jiffy lube and ask why. have them show you that the compresser is operating, and that the lines are cold. If this is the case, then it can be a problem inside the dash, blend doors and all.Doubt if jiffy lube can help you there. You'll need a real mechanic. The Jiffy folks should have ethically discussed this with you when they took your cash.At my shop, if it doesn't work when we're done,we discuss it with you. Probably why I'm small and broke, and Jiffy lube is huge and rich! Good luck.

I would not recommend going to Jiffy Lube for a car problem. This code indicates a lean condition in the fuel burning, and this can be caused by a number of things. This can only be diagnosed by an experienced technician with the proper instruments.

I can tell you that it sounds like someone is trying to take you for a ride.. I've been a mechanic for 28 years. And I've never heard of o rings going bad on a motor that only has 56000 miles. Change the oil filter again.. make sure that it's not a fram.. gram filters have been known to cause your oil pressure light come on. Hope this helps you.

1994 mercedes E320, radiator light has come on, unsure of problem as everything seems fine, any help appreciated

This usually just means the coolant level is low. If you are unsure how to check it yourself, ask a friend, or take it to a mechanic. The oil-change services (Jiffy-Lube, Q-Lube, etc.) will usually check and add coolant as part of their normal oil-change service as well, if you happen to be needing an oil change too.

Sensors went bad, at 60 k miles, is this covered in warranty

you need to take the vehicle to a real mechanic. Jiffy lube employes are not mechanics. Change your oil at jiffy lube and get mechanical work done at a reputable auto dealer or mechanic shop.
