Chevy Blazer 2004 V-6. When car is cold, fuel scheduling is off. Car bucks, pops back thru air filter and hesitates. It clears up in three minutes. Cleaned MAF sensor. Car runs fine rest of the day

Check and test the crankshaft position sensor and also the camshaft position sensor. Have a local autoparts store scan the dtc or diagnostic troubleshooting codes. this will you give yo a better idea of whats causing the issue. Also clear all dtc's and drive vehicle until check engine light comes back on. recheck codes. but i will almost bet the bank its going to be one of those sensors. also oil leaks will do a number on the wiring connectors. possibly a simple cleaning of the wiring connectors will solve the issue too

it sounds like you have a injector leaking down into one of your cylinders so it is flooding out a cylinder thus runs rough and long cranks.

p0443 is evaporative emission control system, purge control curcuit malfunction, p0449 is emission control system, vent control curcuit malfunction. p0449 is often a filler cap problem on fuel tank. try tightening cap

Hello,
When the MAF on most vehicles reach a point of preventing the engine from starting, you can usually just unplug it and the engine will start. If that doesn't work-
You may want to try having the O2 sensor, ( Oxygen sensor ), checked. It works with other components of the emission system and can cause similar symptoms as the MAF, including preventing the engine from starting.

it is possibly the throttle position sensor(tps) malfunctioning. basically the computer or "brain" of the car thinks the throttle is in a different position than it really is and automatically makes adjustments to fuel, air ect.... based on these false readings from the sensor thus causing the engine to react a little different when you expect to have power.

1993 Chevy S10 Blazer engine hesitation with smoke from exhaust
Had a 94 Olds Bravada that did a similar thing and it was EGR valve on the front of the intake. It' s easy to take off and clean with WD 40 and if you have an air compressor blow it out good.
