Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try
Hi welcome main problems are the abs valves causing the 3 dash lights (search 3 amigos online) a really badly sited compressor can cause air suspension models to fail giving the bags a slow leak the V8 is a solid engine but can have radiator expansion tank and cap failures
the other issue is electrics windows and door looms are problematic
You will not fix this yourself. You need to get the fault codes read by a professional shop that can identify the cause - most probably a faulty connection, or a failed control unit
HDC relies on the data from the ABS sensors also, so you should check the ABS sensor cables and that the sensors have not been disturbed (the cables run close to the brake wear sensors). I would bet that they have either disturbed or disconnected the ABS sensor or damaged the cable. It could also be a possibility that they disconnected the sensor, ran the vehicle then realized that it was disconnected, but the fault was triggered, and it may be a case of just having to reset the ABS or HDC system to clear the fault. To reset this fault requires Testbook/T4 or a non-oem software/hardware.
think your battery went dead again and not on it's own accord. I suspect you have charging system problem (alternator/belt issue) For the 2 days that new battery was in, it was running on battery power.
Solution, just start truck - take it to GOOD autoparts store and have them do FREE charging system test for you.
Re; all the lights and error messages, that's a normal response to a low voltage/not enough power to run all the accessories and ignition on your rig.
I have 2002 Discovery - been there, done that.. hope above helps...
Have referred your problem to the experts at www.graemecooper.com.au - should have an answer with a day or so.. Meanwhile, dry everything out with a hair drier and spray liberally with WD40 or similar. Do this especially arond the injectors
