Where is iac on 08 4runner v6 - 4Runner Toyota Cars & Trucks

Look for a vacuum leak

Infiniti G35 2003, no engine told or vin and I tell you.
the IAC can be many places.
on side of TB or car is TBW? lets look
or bolted to the intake manifold anywhere.
3.5L V6 engine if USA =
answer there is no IAC the TB (twb) is now a virtual IAC, the PCM uses the motor drive in the TB to
control idle as do all newer cars do now.
also shopping for IAC this car shows no hits. (USA)
TBW = throttle by wire
TB = throttle body valve. TV= throttle valve, ASE names all.

check plate between carb and intake possble shorting out you will notice wires going to it

Honestly, I have a 1993 2.8 L V6 and it's always idled high when warming up. They're rather notorious for that for some reason lol

I have teh same vehicle/engine and had the same problem. I replaced the IAC and have not heard the noise since.

If you have the 3.0L V6 yes. If you have the 3.5l V6 no.

If it were an IAC problem it would do it in reverse also. A bad engine mount can cause shaking in one direction but not the other, Also check your vacum hoses and lines.

I also drive a 2006 Jeep Commander 4.7L V8. I can't seem to find anything that looks like an IAC. My rpm fluctuates in idle mode. What can I possibly do to rectify it without breaking the bank?

4CYL or V6?? Clean/Replace your IAC valve as this will cause rough/erratic idles(may happen intermittedly). IAC valve motor possibly sticking due to dirt and carbon build-up. I also recommend a full tune-up, including air filter, and intake cleaning if this hasn't been done recently. Hopefully this helps....

4cyl or V6?? Start at cleaning/replacing the IAC valve(idle air control valve),MAF sensor(V6 only) and cleaning the intake. At this time, I recommend replacing the air filter and sparkplugs(if not done recently). The IAC valve may be dirty or defective causing rough, low, or no idle. hopefully this helps
