SOURCE: Check Engine Light

Nita0605 you should have included a little more infomation. Does the car drive any different when the light is on? Most likely you have a trouble code P0325.........Knock sensor fault or O2 sensor problem. I wouldn't worry about it until the light stays on

SOURCE: 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5S, Check Engine Light Problem.

this problem could be caused by the mass air flow censor, i had the same problem with my car. it is really pricey at the dealer so you might want to check elsewhere for this part. I found one at a scrap yard for 85% less that the dealer and i also got life time warranty, the dealer does not offer any warranty on this part.

yes a fuel pump problem can and will cause both problems. not know the service history of this vech i will not say that there still might be other problems with your vech. but if you can get the pump replaced under warrenty i would do that first. and then procced. good luck kdc744

SOURCE: Check engine light

A multi misfire may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
Faulty spark plug or wires, Faulty coil (pack), Faulty oxygen sensor(s), Faulty fuel injector(s), Stuck/blocked EGR valve / passages, Faulty camshaft position sensor, Defective computer.

The engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wire, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.

Good luck and hope this information helps, keep me posted, be glad to help you get the truck running 100% again. Not sure if your running a K&N air filter, and if you are there may be a flim of oil on the MAF sensor that is making you run lean. You may want to spray down the MAF sensor with a can of MAF cleaner.

Rough Idle 2011 Nissan Altima

If you're experiencing a rough idle in your 2011 Nissan Altima, the first thing you should do is diagnose the issue. The Torque app can provide you with some diagnostic codes which can help you narrow down the problem. In your case, two current fault codes and two pending fault codes were recorded. The current fault codes point to a system that is running too lean on Bank 2 and misfiring in multiple cylinders. The pending codes indicate a system that is too lean on Bank 1 and a cylinder 2 misfire.
To start troubleshooting, you should begin by checking the spark plugs and ignition coils. Both of these components are integral to the proper functioning of the engine. If they are faulty, they can cause misfiring and rough idling. You should also inspect the mass air flow sensor, as a faulty one can throw off the air-fuel ratio of the engine.
Finally, if the problem still persists after inspecting the spark plugs, ignition coils, and mass air flow sensor, then you should consider consulting a professional mechanic for further diagnosis. They can provide a more accurate assessment of the issue and recommend the best course of action.

What does a code PC300 mean on a NIssan Altima 2003 2.5S

p0300 means multiple misfire detected. did the fuel pressure check good? are you getting ignition fire to the plugs from the coils? the crankshaft sensor is in a difficult spot and the connector can be hard to get on sometimes. double check the connector and also make sure the terminals in the sensor didn't get bent while plugging it in.

I have a code po1111 in my 2003 nissan altima and po300 and it runs bad

P0300: Random / multiple cylinders misfire.

P0111: Intake Air Temperature Sensor. But sometimes this code comes up if you got a dirty air filter/Defective Mass air flow too.

But first you have to do is check the misfiring first and see if you need new spark plug or plug wires. Good luck bro

2000 Buick LeSabre Will not start Replaced cam

Multiple engine misfire is related to the coils and the ignition control module. I have a 2002 with the 3.8 engine. It has three coils. I just went through this problem. I bought one coil and tried it in each position with no improvement. It was the ignition control module. Mine is located under the three coils. A relatively easy item to replace. Cost about $140.
