SOURCE: im trying to locate the fuse for the fuel pump on my 2001 dodge s

it's likely located in the fuse panel in the engine compartment near the battery. not exactly sure which relay it is... if you are lucky it's marked on the inside bottom of the cover that you have to remove to get to the relays.

Have replaced fuel pump in 2001 GMC Sonoma; truck does not start. Have located relay switch, how do I test it? thanks
just swap it with another relay in the box, also check the fuse panel in the pickup for blown fuses. Also when you turn the ignition switch on listen for the pump to come on if you do not hear it. Get an ohm meter and check the wiring at the pump for voltage going to the pump. If there is none start with the fuse box in the cab.

Turns over but won't start. sprayed starter fluid and started temporarily. is it the fuel pump?
I would check the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay. Also check that the inertia switch doesn't need reset. If none of those are the problem, then the fuel pump is probably bad.

2001 cavalier died while driving, now it wont start
Could be failed fuel pump. Disconnect fuel line at engine and turn over a couple times having something to catch gas in. If electric pump don't turn over engine, just turn key to run position for a few seconds. Maybe clogged fuel filter or faulty pump if no gas shows. Change fuel filter and try again. If none, change pump.

I , i try to find the fuel filter for my hyundai elantra 2001
The fuel filter is located under the rear seat in a compartment above the fuel tank. Also, a filter sock at the base of the fuel pump located 
in the fuel tank.

On 2001 models the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump. To replace the fuel filter, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the back seat and take fuel pump cover off to get to the fuel pump.Then you have to 1) disconnect the electrical connector from fuel pump/fuel sending unit, 2) disconnect the high pressure hose and the fuel return hose from the fuel pump and 3) remove the fuel pump mounting flange screws. You can then lift the fuel pump and replace the filter.

Need location of fuel pump relay
You are going to have to remove the fuel pump and disconnect the wire harness. Check for voltage at the plug. Not sure of the excact location.
