There isn't an Air temp sensor on these cars. There is a mass air flow, which is located under the center nose panel between the two headlights.

There is the ambient temp sensor for the ac/heater. Are you talking about this?

There are two speed sensors one is called a revolution sensor that is located on the case of the transmission. You can take the driver side wheel off and see the sensor on the top of the case of the transmission. A 10mm bolt is holding it in. Easy fix

Try twinturbo.net. plenty of 300zx enthusiasts and info on that site. Has a tech forum and links to faq. Look around and search. I go there for help on my 93 Z. And no, it doesn't have to be a turbo model.

Sounds like you have a problem with the coolant temp sensor, could be sensor or wiring. The coolant temp sensor tells the computer how warm the engine is so that it know how to adjust the mixture, a cooler engine needs more fuel. If the sensor or wiring is messed up, the computer gets a signal that the engine is very cold and the computer gives full rich to the injectors.
