My 1999 alero is overheating and engine coolant leaks everywhere what do i do to fix it and i cant find the tranny dip stick
Hi, i dont know about the dipstick, but your overheating problem is most likely to be the thermostat...sounds like its stuck in the closed position,not allowing colder water to circulate, hence the overheating.......needs changing
I had the same problem and replaced thermostat and still over heats and i cant find the problem
car problem, car overheating
intake air, or gasket does sound like, maintain air pressure, with coolant

V6 = intake gasket
There is no transmission dip stick just a cap (red) located under the Air Filter box...saw mine for the first time yesterday as I am in the middle of a lower intake gasket replacement job on my 1999 Olds Cutlass. :-)
