I have a 2006 Mitsubishi endeavor AWD, V6 3.8 Liter, and it is currently cranking slow/hesitating when I turn the ignition key to start what could be causing this?

The only work recently done was the changing of the O2 sensors. The truck runs fine once it starts. What could it be the spark plugs, starter, lose starter wires, battery etc...

Could be an old battery, poor connections, bad body ground, weak starter or an out of time engine.

SOURCE: 95 F150 wont crank

the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.

SOURCE: Distributor wont spark

check the fuseble link.
you can measure it, and make sure the contact are clean and secured.
the other thing is the check the ignition switch, make sure you have 12v going to the switch.
check thermo switch on top of the block.

Mitsubishi endeavor 2004 coil pack burnt out changed and turns over but no start spark plugs wet from fuel but not starting

There are so many possibilities, fuse, command module, crank signal? Is the module getting 12 volts. It is rarely a whole ignition coil pack goes out unless of a short. Was the unit burned up? If not, it could have a bad crank position signal. The cam sensor is mainly for fuel and crank sensor is mainly for spark.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM. MY 2005 MITSUBISHI ENDEAVOR LIMITED CRANKS FOR SOMETIME(30-40 SECONDS) BEFORE STARTING?

might be a fuel issue. try this. turn the key like you are going to start the car and you should hear the fuel pump. but don't turn it so far the engine starter turns. then turn it off. then repeat. do this 3 times and then try starting the car. what this does is builds up fuel pressure easier. if it works then you might have a fuel leak or a fuel filter might be clogged or the fuel pump is going.

Why does my 2006 mitsubishi endeavor limited has problems starting right away?

Hello --
I thought I already replied to this question -- here is a repeat if so, otherwise, please see the bottom addition - Ck
Look for faults in the fuel injection system, Battery terminal connection loose or corroded; faulty fuel pump; excessive moisture on or damage to ignition components; worn/ faulty or incorrectly gaped spark plugs; broken, loose or disconnected wires at the distributor/ coil pack or starting circuit; faulty ignition coil pack..

ADDITION: I know this sounds weird, but you may want to try playing with the gas cap -- open and close the cap when you go to start it. there may be an issue with the cap.. of vapor lock in the fuel tank, also - when was the fuel filter last changed? How about the fuel tank -- have you added any cleaners or water removeal additives (LIKE LUCAS GAS TREATMENT - not the alcohol only additives which only dry out the fuel)?
Best regards

2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor won't start. I turn the key and nothing happens. The interior lights are dim and headlights are normal. Had it jumped and same thing happens. Where is the problem? thanks.

I had the same problem too..My battery was stone dead..My lights were on but their probably isnt enough cranking amps to start the truck...I would take the battery out and charge it overnight and then try to crank it in the morning...i just changed the battery and the truck started right up

The key won't release from ignition. The transmission is in "Park".

the vehicle is possibly in an over-steer condition, if so, bouncing the steering wheel in the direction of the turn while attempting to turn the key , may release the bind. It is also possible you need to replace the lock cylinder if this trick does not work
