SOURCE: How to change the serpentine belt on '98 Plymouth Breeze?

All you need is a long prubar (or you can rent a tensioner wrench at the parts store) essentially a open end wrench with a 3 ft handle.
Put the tensioner wrench on the nub of the tensioner and pull back... this will release the tension on the old belt. Remove it from one of the pulleys, and then from the entire system.
Note how it is routed through the pulleys, and put the new one on the same way.
The car should have a sticker on the radiator support telling you the path of the belt.

SOURCE: will not start

Open the air filter container. Spray some starting fluid in and see if it starts. If it starts, it is the fuel filter or fuel pump or both.

SOURCE: oil leak 1998 plymouth breeze

First check your PCV system and make sure it is in good working order this is a must. Then check the cam sensor or oil sending unit, it is located between the engine and fire wall under the exhaust manifold.

SOURCE: How to replace a headlight bulb in a 98 plymouth

these bulbs go in from behind the headlight assy. from under the hood look at the back of the headlight and locate the wiresgoing to the back of the headlight you can turn the connector or pull it out gently then turn the back of the bulb to remove it replacement is the reverse-- don't touch the glass of the new bulb, handle it by the base-fingerprints will shorten the life of a bulb of this type some parts stores will sell you the bulb and replace it for you if its not to hard for them-- too difficult then the automotive center at wally world or k mart will replace it for a fee

What would cause my 98 plymouth breeze to leak oil. I have to put a quart of oil in about every 2 weeks.

Age ;). But seriously, is car leaking or burning oil? Do you see any oil under car? Clean engine and try to locate when it comes from. There are many possibilities. From valve cover gasket to pinhole in oil pan or leaky seal on oil filter or drain plug.

I have a 98 plymouth breeze that when I'm driving it does great but when I stop or have it in idle it will sputter and die I have changed the battery and the alternator I think it has something to do with...

If you have not done any maintance on the car then you need to do it now. Replace the spark plugs/air filter/ fuel filter and change the oil and filter. By doing this it should take care of your problem. Hope this will help you.

I I have a 98 plymouth breeze i get a swish sound

The AC Clutch is going and is slipping, thus the swishing sound..sorry. When the Defrost or AC is turned on the Clutch is Engaged. And yes the AC Unit replacement is recommended over trying to have the Clutch replaced. Most mechanics won't even try rebuilding an AC Unit.

Oil leak in a 98 plymouth breeze 2.0

I've had a 1990 Acclaim, a 1990 Shadow, and a 1998 Breeze, all have a head gasket leak. The Breeze was the only one to have oil leak and it was on the rear of the engine. I'd guess that's your problem.

Where do i put oil in my 97 plymouth breeze???? I just bought this car. It has no sign or label for oil.... Help please!

This is what the cap should look like, minus the lettering. It is on the top of the engine. Turn it counter-clockwise to romove. Check the oil level and make sure it needs oil before adding so you don't overfill.
