Under the hood, on the firewall, there is the clutch master cylinder with a reservoir on it. This is where the fluid goes. Uses brake fluid, just like the brake master cylinder, also on the firewall. The clutch master only has one line coming from it-the line that goes to the clutch slave cylinder.

I have the 1990 model and just so happened to stumble on its unusual location today as I was replacing the door hinges. On the passenger side open the door and look above the step, there should be a little plastic cap with the wiper icon on it. hope this helps!

First try to adjust the clutch cylinder in the pedal, by screwing it more to the shaft. Check reservoir for leaks.
If possible replace the master cylinder. If master cylinder is bad, this can affect only clutch and not the brakes. The part is easy to find.
Check the bearing at the end of the clutch transmission shaft, that is the pilot bearing. Check also the bearing that releases the plates on the fork, at the other side of the transmission shaft. If mileage is high and master and slave cylinders are not the problem, then you may need to replace one or both bearings.

It is OBD II all cars world-wide were required to be OBD II by the 1997 model year. The port should be located under the dash on the drivers side of the car. It looks like a serial port on the back of a home computer.
