Just chasing up on the above and also does the 2001 Kia Sportage have a CAM sensor pls
TPS voltage is Close to 0 volts, normally the minimum, and 5 volts is typically the maximum. As an example, when a car's computer reads 2.5 volts from the TPS, it may mean the throttle is opened by 50% (your foot is pushing the pedal half-way down), and yes has a cam sensor its in between the cams behind the cam cover.

On 2001-2005 vehicles the crankshaft sensor is mounted on the front of
the transmission case adjacent to the flywheel.
Please rate and god bless:)

Rule of thumb...unless you get a better answer: look for a couple of wires on a small plate that is in the airflow of the fan on the heater/ac unit. The resistor pack is always air cooled by the fan.

check both of your fuse panels for a blown fuse. there's 4-5 that control the fuel pump, engine sensors, fuel injectors and such. one of those may be blown and not letting the rest of the system function. one panel is located under hood, and one is under the dash on drivers side. when you take the covers off they have the fuses numbered and tell what they control.

Should be able to take it apart and take the battery out for 15-30 seconds or longer. Then put it back in. While your at it, you might as well change the battery but doing this will reset it.
SOURCE: Where is the TPS sensor located on my 2002 kia
The TPS is located on the side of the throttle body where the air enters the engine. It has a three wire connector going to it. Below is a photo of the part.
