coolant hitting floor ive only seen thing 1 time if it is effecting the ac or heat with smoke its gotta go to the shop because that could be a leak in the ac or heat element
If it is an automatic, there may be a kick down cable that has broken or out of adjustment. Also I have seen time after time floor mats and carpets preventing pedal from traveling its full potential So I would check the easy ones first.
Probably something is hanging the spring open at the carb. that pulls it back. I have seen a gas petal hang up on a replaced over the counter floor mat.
Usually when you have these symptoms, the first thing you should look for is coolant in the passenger side floorboard. Just run your hands over the carpet and feel for dampness. if you have floor mats, ne sure to check under the floor mat. If it is damp you are most likely going to have a leaking heater core or heater core hose
this could be many things ..first the heater matrix {big job} could also be a leaky front window {is it the original or a replacement} or it could be from the cabin filters .or worst news the cars has a crash and a bad repair ?? my advice have it professional looked at a reputable dealers
You have to remove the water pump. It's one of the most pain in the *** designs I've ever seen. I have camaro with same engine. The good news is that you can purchase a new one for $250 to $500, thats the bad news too.
