SOURCE: 2002 explorer. Alarm goes off

Hi, my name is John I will do my best to assist you.

Based on a review of the wiring diagram for the Anti-Theft system in your Explorer the controlled ground wire for the Anti-Theft Inhibit switch is Dark Green/Violet, grounding or disconnecting this should disarm the Alarm. You will have to experiment to see weather grounding, or disconnecting disarms the alarm, the wiring diagram doesn't indicate weather the switch is normally opened, or normally closed.

You may consider installing a single pole single throw toggle switch so that you can manually arm and disarm the system at will.

Click here to see the wiring diagram with the switch highlighted.

Driver side windows , window lock, and drivers door speaker quit working. installed new master switch still not working. what could be the problem ?

All of these things are on COMPLETELY different circuits and do not share any common components other than the wiring harnesses they are bundled in. It is possible to have a rubbed-through wiring harness that is affecting ALL of these circuits, but it is NOT very likely.
Each failure should be diagnosed individually to locate the problem. If the problem does turn out to be something like a wiring harness problem, you will find the problem with ALL of these things by concentrating on diagnosing ONE of these things.

Failed window lift motors and door lock actuators are VERY common on Ford Explorers. The easiest way to diagnose this condition is to remove the door panels and check for power and ground at the lift motors and lock actuators themselves. If power and ground is present at the component connector when the switches are activated, then the component needs to be replaced. If ground or power is missing from the connector, then the circuits must be traced to find the problem.

For the driver's door speaker, there is a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) published by Ford that involves replacing the connector at the door speaker. The parts are available only at the dealer and come with instructions. It is TSB Number 05-21-11.

2004 Mazda RX-8 turn car off and remove keys. flashing interior lights, clicking noise from driver rear door. Remove battery cable to make it stop. Help!

The problem is an electrical failure in your circuitry. From Fuse to lights, to the door switches is a complete circuit. It is possible the lock switch is stuck or faulty making the motor keep running. There may be a relay that is sticking open for that door motor. Between the switch and motor if you do have the relay. I would try disconnecting the lock switch on that door first, then if it still occurs try disconnecting lock or window the one on the drivers side. If the problem still occurs, then your looking at a problem in the electrical such as shorted wire somewhere.

Power windows don't work on all 4 doors and power lock doesn't work on the driver door. 2004 jeep grand cherokee

On the driver side, the window/door lock module has the power lead either pulling away from the connection or has broke entirely. Another common cause is the wire harness between the door jam, this is the area that has a rubber boot covering the wires and from opening and closing the door, it creates a broken or loose connection over time. Open the driver side door, grab the rubber boot that the wires run thru, and move it around. Some times this will help create the connection and restore the power. If not, the door panel will need to be removed to inspect the wire connections.

2003 Ford Explorer Limited. Door ajar light displays when rear defroster is turned on

I had the exact same problem with my 2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. Each time I pressed the rear defrost button, the door adjar light came on. The problem was a broken ground wire in the wiring harness that ran into the drivers side door. Pull the rubber boot back on the wiring harness between the drivers door and and body and look for broken wires. There are a lot of wires so you will have to look very close. I inserted a 1 1/2 inch wire splice to reconnect the black wire and everything now works fine. This splice also fixed the problem with the drivers side- side view mirror light. I have researched and discovered that many Explorers have this problem.

04 EXPLORER DOME LIGHT STAYS ON, DOOR ADJAR LIGHT ON, DOOR JAMB SWITCHES WORKING PROPERLY.

At least one of your door ajar switches are sticking. Try spraying rust penetrant into the latches and open and close the doors several times. If they still stay on you will have to locate which latch it is by removing the door panels and disconnecting the switches.
