Jaguar xf cannot fold mirrors tried the two buttons

Folding mirrors normally have a setting to fold automatically or to fold only manually.

The passenger door not locking is likely a broken wire or a door module issue. For that, you need an auto electrician who has access to data sheets and also has a pro grade scan tool computer. The scan tool is bi-directional and can instruct things to happen electronically and verify that they did and if they didn't why?

Possible causes. The button, wiring from the button to the PCM, PCM, wiring from the PCM to the cruise control module, cruise control module. Which in your case , the cruise module is the throttle body module. Drive by wire. Have the codes read.

Some 2012 models don't have the seat folding latches. They can be put in if you strip out boot covering and attach wires to tags.

On my S Type I hold the 4 x way button on, in the down position and they fold - the same to unfold - Do you know if this option is fitted to your car?

Just bought a Jag xf sport. There appears to be a child lock on doors at back which I cannot get rid of and the locking generally seems complicated . Please tell me what to do!
