if its a po725 code its engine speed fault ,replace crank sensor.for vehicle speed there are two identical sensors near each other on trans....one called revolution sensor other is called turbine speed sensor.
Look @ the top of your transmission maybe the back, follow the cable that runs from your transmission to the firewall where ur steering wheel would be.
the speed sensor is on top of the transmission just above the right side axle(you can see it better from underneath). this should be the only sensor in that particular area and will be a 3 or 4 pin connection. take a 10mm wrench or socket and remove the 1 bolt. from point i would spray it with wd-40 and attempt to wiggle it out until you have about a 1/4" and it then becomes a little easier. the problems you incure while doing this are the possibility of the sensor breaking while still in the transaxle. take your time and be patient. cheers
only it you is employed at the number 4 for which you have the fan bad control amplifer this one serves for the control of the speeds and eta located behind lower right side of dash. Thanks
I just had the same problem with my '02 altima SE.
Took it to Buckeye Nissan in Hilliard OH. and they had to replace the two crank sensors which.
The sensors themselves were about $44.00 a piece, but w/labor about $300.00 was the total. Hope this helps.....Now if I can just get the heater working!
i have replaced the speed sensor and my vehicle still does the same thing. the cruse control keeps kicking off by its self.this speed sensor ios located on the top of the transmission.
VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)? Is its that then did your ABS light come one? You have 4 sensors, one per wheel located on the back side of the knuckle/spindle
