I don't have a good picture of coolant temp sensor location? My info just said close to egr valve, so, I posted egr valve location. The egr is close to throttle body in the picture. The coolant sensor has two wire connector, yellow and pink. I tried to help?

Where is the coolant temperature sensor located on a 2006 Buick Lucerne 3.8L V-6 3800 series 3 engine

It's been a bit, but if I remember correctly, it should be on the right side if you are standing in front of the vehicle under the air intake. Like right above the transmission bell housing. It is kind of tough to get to, seems like it was under the coolant inlet.

Crank sensor, 2006 buick 4.6l location

This engine has two sensors, they are located in the side of the block and pick up the crank position from the crank throws. Below is a diagram. Make sure you check the connectors to the sensors for corrosion or fluid infiltration.

How to replace a coolant temperature sensor in a 2006 Buick Terraza

mine was located at the end of the big hose coming out of the top of the radiator. follow the hose to the engine. next to that hose you will see a sensor next to the hose. thats the culpret. Some models have it on the radiator, engine side. same deal, unplug the sensor wire, unscrew the sensor and replace with new one. MAKE SURE you motor is cold and when you pull the sensor the coolant is going to come out so be set up and move fast and you`ll probably wont loose much coolant. keep rags or paper towels below the sensor to keep from getting on the engine and smelling.

Check engine light is on and onstar said error in cooling system but car seems fine and coolant level is good it does not run hot. any ideas?

Its possible the low coolant sensor or the engine temp sensor has failed.
You would need to get the computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.

Where is the tempurture cooling sensor located on a 1994 buick regal

The coolant temperature sensor is a thermistor mounted in the engine coolant stream. A thermistor is an electrical device that varies its resistance in relation to changes in temperature.

For 2.5L engines, the coolant temperature sensor is located on the left side of the cylinder head.

For MFI engines, the coolant temperature sensor is located on the intake manifold water jacket or near (or on) the thermostat housing.

I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne CXS and I'm wondering

There are 2 different engines that came in the Lucerne in 2006 and I am not sure which one the CXS had. In any case below are pictures of both engines as well as locations. If you have the 3.8 liter (6 cylinder) engine you can add coolant directly to the radiator in the spot marked "A". But on your regular fluid checks you want to make sure that where the "B" is marked that the overflow tank there has fluid up to the line that says "full". If you have the 4.6 liter (8 cylinder) engine the overflow tank and where you fill up the radiator are the same (location "A") so that is the location you would fill the radiator as well as check to make sure there is coolant to the "full" line on the tank on your regular fluid checks, When you look at the pictures below you will understand easier. I hope this helps and good luck.
