Sounds like a faulty switch has both door switches go to the same motor , you can check with a multimetre, change around both switches just to see what happens or unwind both Windows and put some lubricant on the window rubbers then try good luck colin

How to just take emergency brake on 2005 Buick rendezvous

The adjustment is on the drivers side under the vehicle. Lube it or put heat to it, They rust badly. Most likely not your problem though. You'll have to replace cables.

My 2005 buick rendezvous is eating up my front tires from the inside out. what could i do to fix it?

Sounds like you have bad front wheel hub assemblies... google it, GM won't admit there is a HUGE problem with them, but there is. Just got back from a trip, had to replace the driver side front tire, wore to the steel belt. Went in for an alignment after new struts and whala, once again I have a bad assembly on the drivers side. This is the THIRD time I have replaced it in less than 2 years. Don't pay the dealer to do it. Get the part at the auto parts store and do it yourself. You'll save big bucks and it will wear out before the lifetime warranty so your next one will be free (if you install it yourself).

The driver side window will not come back up. the

I have this problem in my Buick Park Avenue. The two passenger side windows and the driver window work fine, but the rear driver side window won't close if it's opened. I disconnected the wire from inside the door to avoid further problems.

First try helping the window up, by gently pulling on it while you push the button. If this doesn't work and your vehicle is still under warranty, take it back to the place of purchase, the window motor will need to be serviced or replaced.

I had the same problem with mine. It ended up being a bad driver's window button. You have to replace the entire drivers side window control panel. One way to check if yours is bad is with a multimeter, or ohmmeter. Just take a small screwdriver to the side of the control panel (Entire panel...not just the button) and pry it up. It will pop out with a minimum amount of force. Next, disconnect the wiring harnesses from it and remove the panel. Make sure the car is off with the keys out before you do that. Check the continuity between the 3 pins on the underside of the button in question. You should have less than 1 ohm between the center and bottom pin when the button is in the down position and the same on the middle pin and upper pin when the window is in the up position. If you have anything more than 1 ohm, the panel is bad and the entire thing needs to be replaced. It costs like $400, luckily mine was covered by an extended warranty. If you do not have access to a multimeter, you can test it another way. You need to take the entire door panel off! It's really not as bad as it sounds.
