The car has a brake light circuit powered transmission Park shifter lockout solenoid, so if the brake lights are not working when the pedal is pressed the car will not come out of park. Check the brake lights first. Also the owners manual should have a set of instructions to bypass the part lock, it varies with each car but some you turn the key to just short of the on position and wiggle the shifter while doing that, others there is a button hidden on the shift console

This answer saved us a $150 towing bill! Wife's 2016 Crosstrek was locked in park and making her late for work. While she was on hold with the towing company, I found this, followed the suggestion and got her out of the driveway before the tow truck was dispatched. Awesome service!

Ignition Locked. I inserted a key from my other Subaru 2015 Crosstrek.

Have a key fob? if so, lock it down. Open it with the fob. This should disable security.

Where is the blower fan relay located on a 2013 subaru crosstrek?

Not exactly sure if it has relay, but your fuse panel should be in the engine compartment and the blower motor Resistor, which controls the speeds of the motor, should be right by or screwed to the blower motor itself under the dash on the passenger side.

Is it normal for my 2013 subaru xv crosstrek to have excessive oil consumption?

Yes that is normal, Subaru failed to tell customers of the oil consumption, if you go to your Subaru dealer they will fill oil to level & tell you to come back in 1200 miles time, they use 1quart every 1200 miles

Why the heater fan doesnt work

if the fan spins on only one setting then it is working and the problem is in the resistors( burnt out) or the control module (replace)

Gear shifter won't shift into reverse or park

When you "muscled it into neural" you broke the shifter. Most likely it will take a replacement shifter to repair.
