This should solve your problem.
Next time you want to take something apart, be sure to take a picture or 2, before you disconnect anything. That will help you put it back like it was.

Starter problem

wiring to the starter; large cable coming from the battery to the
large post on the starter is direct current, hot at all times. there are two small wires that connect to the solenoid, one comes from the ignition.
Look for loose connection especially ground. If you jumper the connection on the solenoid to the large connection on the battery and it starts, I would suspect fault in the ignition circuit...

I replace a v8 from a 47 buick with a 1980 350 v8 but I do not know where or how to connect any of the wires help'

the 47 buick's had a "fireball 248 I8 engine"
If you removed a V8 engine, then someone else had already removed the stock engine.
If that were the case, just hook up the new engine like the old one was.

Bottom line is this can be a fun project.

No BS from vacuum lines and the million wires can all go away.

I'm not sure where you live and what kind of car scene you have around there, but if there are places where car guys hang out, look for the classics.

Here, we have the nifty 50's car club. Everything from a 1930 ford to 1970's muscle. Some stock and some custom mod.

Just engage them in conversation and have a look at how simple and basic the wiring is.

For a DIY project, hit summitracing.com or jegs.com and look at the "painless wiring" section.
You can pick up a new fuse box with complete wiring, and they walk you through the process.

If you want to keep your focus on engine wiring, all you have to deal with is ignition, starter, battery, and distributor.

I wish I could get my hands into this project with ya. (bring it to houston man)

Feel free to send me updates on this project and I'll talk you through as much as I can. :)

What wire go where on 1980 F 150 4.9 starter

I have provided an image that will assist you and it will connect like so;

1. Connection 1 should have the Pos. (+) battery cable and all of the wires with the large eyelet connectors from the wiring harness connected to it, except for the large cable that runs down to the starter.

2. Connection 2 should only have the large cable going down to the starter connected to it, and there should be no other wire connected there.

3. Connection 3 is the "S" terminal on the starter solenoid, and it is the wire with the small push on connector that is hot only when the key is in the "start" position, usually it is a red wire with a blue stripe, but that is not always the case.

4. Connection 4 is the "I" connection on the starter solenoid and it feeds current back into the ignition, and it is not used on a lot of vehicles after 1981, but if your vehicle has it it will be a small push on connector that will not have any power from it at all, and it will usually be a black wire with a white stripe, but that is not always so.

Blowing 30 amp engine control fuse.

You say it eventually allows you to put new fuse in, do you mean when it sits for a while, a new fuse won't blow, but if it blows and you immediately replace it, it blows again instantly?
