Please be fast about checking your fuel pump. It is not giving enough fuel pressure.

Hours of reading blogs; none show my symptoms: SAAB 95, 2005 Arc. Hiccup/hesitation/stumble when's engine warm to hot, any speed.

Are you talking about a go-cart, or a motorcycle, or a tractor-trailer 18 wheeler? Then OF COURSE, you must IDENTIFY the MAKE, the MODEL, and the YEAR of whatever vehicle you are asking about, if you want any REAL help!

It idles real rough and the Service Engine Soon light is on. Could be uptake valve?

Uptake valve? I've never heard of an uptake valve, but there is a idle
bypass valve, which when in need of cleaning or bad, will make a car
have a really rough idle.

Saab 95 2002 3.0l v6 turbo. when warm, starts to

Have you had your mass air meter checked or replaced? This is the unit attached to the air intake hose behind your air filter. It senses the air temperature, speed, density, etc... and adjusts the fuel/air ratio to keep the vehicle running at "peak" performance. Also, check your TPS (throttle positioning sensor) it can also cause the problem you speak of. The TPS adjusts your engine speed/idle etc. and also compensates for hot/cold changes etc. This is roughly a $35.00 part and in most cases usually an easy fix.

95 eagle talon - Runs fine when cold, terrible when warmed up

When I was building my 97 GSX, I ran into this same problem. I found that I had a bad vacuum leak. Of course, this was after I had done a tune up, changed the fuel pump, injectors, etc.

Let it warm up without driving. Set you idle a little higher by adjusting the idle screw on the throttle body to about 2500 or so. If it does the same while sitting then you can start checking for leaks. Acquire a can of starter fluid from your local auto store. Spray in different areas, short burst (DO NOT blanket the engine area) around the engine compartment, 1 at a time. If the idle changes then returns that is the rough area of the leak. Look around that area and see what it could be. Then you can start fixing the problem.

If not then you will need to get a vacuum tester. You can rent them (Autozone, Advance Auto, NAPA) or find a shop (though that would cost you more) that could check it for you.Follow the directions on the tester.
