Can you be more specific?
Is there a component that is wired through the steering column that has a problem? Turn signals--horn--cruise control--whatever, I need more info?
I don't believe I have an over-all wiring diagram for steering column, itself?

No parking on 98 ford explorer

That has nothing to do with the neutral safety switch (totally separate problem). You either have a broken adjuster or the cable adjuster is simply out of adjustment for your gearshift indicator. This cable and adjuster for this is located on the steering column just below the shifter. If the adjuster is broken (pretty common) the gearshift indicator asembly must be replaced to get it to work correctly.

2002 ford explorer will not start, not getting power from steering column to starter, battery 1 year old checked good at 3 places, starter brand new just put on Monday and hooked up correctly, alt good,...

Power doesn't go from the steering column to the starter ! When you turn the key to start it sends a voltage input to the PCM - engine computer . Then if fuse F2.4 5amp is good B+ voltage goes through the DTR - digital transmission range sensor , If the vehicle is in park or neutral to the starter relay . The PCM will turn on a ground to that circuit energizing the starter relay ! This will happen if there are no issues with the PATS system ! passive anti-theft syatem . Do know what a wiring diagram is ? Always look at a wiring diagram to find what all is involved in a circuit . Here is a web site for free wiring diagram's http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then starting in subsystem ! Click the search button ,then the blue link ! If you don't know about computer controlled systems suggest you take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .
Watch videos on youtube for basic automotive electrical testing ! Never assume anything , learn how to test if you want to fix vehicles !

How to replace cruise control switches on 98 . ford explorer.

More likley you want to have the transducer or the electronic equivalent checked first. The actual lever and controls rarely malfunction. However if someone has indeed pulled the lever out, it should snap back into place with a slight inward push towards the steering column. Best of luck, Dana

How i can remove 2003 ford explorer security or immobilizer

the factory security system is integrated into the systems electronics to remove this will require removal of the dash assembly and dropping the steering column out, u will need factory wiring diagrams to have any chance of success and a very good understanding of how to read and use the diagrams, in short this is not a job for a do it yourself-er, I am a 25 year Ford factory trained tech and this is the 100% truth of the problem you face trying to bypass this.

it sound as if the problem is in you switch and you will need a puller to get the steering wheel off also take the negative side off the battery before you start and remove the fuse for the air bags as well if you have a library near you there you can get all of the pictures and diagrams so you can do the job easier
