1999 Honda CRV. What do these codes mean P1399 and P0141.

The OBD-II error code P1399 and P0141 for a Honda CRV 1999 are as follows:
P1399 - This code indicates that there is a problem with the misfire detection system in the vehicle. This code is often accompanied by other codes that indicate which specific cylinder is misfiring. Causes of this code could include a faulty ignition system, a clogged fuel injector, or a problem with the engine control module (ECM).
P0141 - This code indicates a malfunction in the oxygen sensor located on Bank 1, Sensor 2. This sensor measures the oxygen content in the exhaust gas after it has passed through the catalytic converter. Causes of this code could include a faulty sensor, a damaged sensor wiring harness, or a problem with the vehicle's computer.
It is recommended that you have a certified mechanic diagnose and repair these issues to ensure proper operation of your vehicle.

We have a 1999 Mitsubishi gallant , we have a miss fire when ever its raining out ? what could be causing this to happen

misfiring is from plugs , HT leads ,moisture in the circuits and injector problems including low fuel pressure. use HT lead bridges to stop leads touching each other, clean out the interior of the distributor cap. ensure that the HT leads are pushed fully home in the cap and on the plugs . clean the distributor outside so the that spark cannot track through the dirt/oil.

1999 honda crv shuts off while in drive.

next time it dies, cranks and wont start, do this if you have someone else with you. carry a spare spark plug, then when the problem arises pull off a plug wire put the spare plug into it and ground the end somewhere in the engine bay, then have someone bump the key and watch to see if the plug has a spark or not, that will at least tell you what problem to go searching for. if it had air, it still does when it dies so it will either be spark or fuel related. just because the pump runs, doesnt mean the ecu is telling the injectors to fire, so still could be a fuel issue. is the check engine light on?

2000 Honda CRV won't start, turns over, no spark

Do you have a spark at the coil? Try pulling off the cable, and with somebody inside to crank the engine, check to see if there is a spark jumping from the center high-voltage terminal. If you have no spark, you may have a bad coil or bad electronic ignition module.

My 1999 jeep grand cherokee sometme dies when stopped but starts again, sometimes misses

is this petrol or diesel.if petrol check your plugs are getting a spark. if no spark then check the ignition leads from your cap going to your spark plugs use a spark plug tester.if it is a diesel check your fuel filter it has a drain on the bottom of it may have a small amount of water .to drain from it. i take it you know how to remove air in the system if no .come back on .i can talk you through the procedure. this apply to any diesal engine.

Well take a plug lead off any plug and the plug and put plug in lead and rest it on the engine with the thread resting on the metal block and then spin it over if a good blue spark then coil etc is all ok BUT if no spark then the coil could be faulty or condencer OR points need cleaning and regaping to 12thou
when all in good order start and test run .

I have a 1999 honda crv. When I go to start the car, the car will turnover, but won't start up. Can you please tell me what is wrong?

you would have to do some basic checks before i could answer that one im fraid. when did it stop have you have any work done prior to that and if no apparent reason then you would have to check the two main things, fuel (take a spark plug out of your engine, is the end wet/dry, if dry wot colour is it(brown=rich mix, whiteish=running fine, black=running very lean) then while plug out connect back to the wire it came from without screwing it in and hold to the body of the engne with a very insulated pair of pliers while a trusted friend tries to start it, you should see a spark everytime the engine turns over) third conclusive test would be to smell exhaust fumes for trace of petrol) if you can smell petrol in fumes then electrical, same if plugs are wettish with fuel, if plugs dry and spark there then you want to be looking at fuel probs, if no spark and dry plugs then you would be looking at immobiliser probs. sorry i couldnt be more specific.

Not starting after replacing plugs and leads ??? help

What do you mean by 'turn over?' Is the starter not working or do you mean it isn't firing? 'Turning over' normally means that the starter is functional even though the engine doesn't start.
