Yes , your cruise control is computer controlled , your best bet .take it to the dealer . Nothing you can do .

Look at the underside of the main fuse box under the hood and the diagram should show you the size of each fuse and the relays as well as the function of each. Other fuse boxes will also have the same information, but I believe the main fuse box has the ABS and cruise in it.

If there is a problem with the ABS the cruise control is disabled ! you have to fix the ABS problem for the CC to work !

Usually replacing the TPS - throttle position sensor will get rid of this issue.

if the cruise control does not activate. Check the cruise control fuse. Do a visual check of all wiring relating to the cruise control system. Visually inspect the brake (and clutch if so equipped). If these are out of adjustment, the voltage cannot get to the components down stream with enough power to operate the cruise control.
Visually inspect for vacuum leaks in the release hose and valve, If the cruise control system fails to maintain the set speed, check the throttle linkage adjustment.

Its possible that you have a faulty crank shaft position sensor. Mine went out in my 05 RT and the car stalled frequently at stoplights and the cruise control would not work. It could be something else but after replacing my crank sensor I haven't had an issue.

07 sebring cruise light comes on but cruise does not work i have installed a new clock spring and now the horn works but no cruise control.
