A speed sensor failure in the rear axel housing has damaged friction plates in the differential (limited slip). This axel should have had oil serviced at 80,000 miles

Where is located ABS sensor?

the abs sensors( 4 of them ) are located at each wheel near the brake rotor or in the live axle housing close to the wheel
the trac control uses the same sensors and it only takes one faulty unit to put the lights on
the fault can be from a broken wire, wire fallen out of holder

My VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF & brake light is on in board

I have a 2004 sequoia with the same problem. VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF & brake light comes on at the same time. Sometimes just the brake light and other times all three. Sometimes no lights. Does anyone have a fix?

My trac and vsc light come on every so often and when it does the car does not accelerate properly.

Tht first thing to do is have the computer scanned for codes, the codes that in memory help to find the problem, you may have a bad speed sensor or output shaft speed sensor, when any of these go bad you end up with the problem your having.by scanning for codes helps alot, good luck.

Check engine light is on together with the vsc and trac light on my Sequoia 2003,what that means?

Hello. Many times the check engine light and VSC and trac are all on due to one or more bad sensors as opposed to any serious trouble. Begin by having your car's computer scanned. AAMCO transmission shops now offer a free scan as do some auto parts stores. Begin with that. Joe

2004 Sequoia. VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF, and Check

It is not hard to change the sensor, it just screws into a threaded hole. The light will not go out immeditaly, after the sensor is replaced. It needs to go thru a drive cycle. Your best bet is to replace the sensor and get the code cleard by whoever scanned it for the 0031 code.

VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF and CHECk ENGINE lights

You have to know what code is stored to fix the problem. Toyota's will generally display a Check Engine light, VSC and TRAC light all at the same time, even if it's a simple problem with an oxygen sensor (for example). You can disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes, even though you should a scan tool should be used, to clear out the code.
