SOURCE: Replacing rear brake pads on 2006 Freestar ..piston won't move back with c clamp

I just had this problem myself. I ended up removing the caliper completely and drained it of all of it's fluid. I then held it in my hand and used an 2" round bar to beat the piston back down. once you break it loose it goes fairly easy. then bolt it all back up and bleed the brakes

you may have to have the GEM module checked out as I believe it controls heater control operation.

SOURCE: Why air conditioner in my 2006 Ford freestar blow cold all vents but the two for driver

If it has dual climate control, then something is wrong with either a vent/blend door motor problem, broken door inside the plenum or heater/A-C box, try to self test system to see what is going on causing this problem. Hopefully there is not a pen/pencil blocking the door so it will not close.

Power windows and vent

If more than one window is not working, it could be the controller in the door, or lack of power to that side of the van.
Have you checked the window switch for power and ground ?

DRIVER SIDE ELECTRIC WIDOW IS SLOW AND AT TIME DOES NOT OPERATE

A slow window with intermittent operation is generally a symptom that the window switch is carboning up and about to stop working all together ( the contacts will get too bad to operate ).

There is a thread at F150online.com in the how to forum that has pictures on how to dissemble the switch and clean the contacts with an eraser or emery cloth.

http://www.f150online.com/forums/articles-how-tos/414955-how-fix-defective-window-switch.html

My 2006 did this already on the driver's side.

If the switch is clean, it could be the motor or wiring to the motor, but the most likely issue is the contacts in the switch.

Alternate to this is just to replace the switch, these are ~ 68.00 + S/H online or ~ 87.00 at a local dealer.
