I have a 2000 Odyssey with a six-disc CD player. Radio works but the player has stopped. I believe there is a SECOND fuse for the CD player (not in the passenger-side fuse box). Any ideas?

SOURCE: Fuse box question

Hi Violinlovr,
If memory serve, you'll find one box under the hood and another the same side as the steering wheel which is accessed by removing the plastic storage locker....Open it and gently pull down on the top so that it swings all the way out.

My cd player has stopped working in my 2004 odyssey - it reads "disc error"

Try the basic first, go and pick up one of Maxell CD-AUTO Automotive CD Lens Cleaner and see if this might solve the problems. When a factory cd player give an error basically it become inoperative/faulty and it will be difficult fix it your self unless you some some electronics background and the have the radio schematic. Its not worth fixing by sending to your local electronics repair shop unless you attached to it. All electronics tend to fail soon or later and some has better luck than others. After market radio will be as good or better than your stock radio. Keep in mind, the radio in your vehicle is mass produced cheap, saving the auto manufacture allot of money. You can look on ebay which list from 80 bucks to 140 dollars for stock replacement radio fairly cheap and I don't recommend getting it from the dealer which they will charge you 500-600 bucks for new one.
Hope that help some
