You might try a battery cable terminal removal tool sold at most auto parts stores. This looks like a mini gear puller that grabs the bottom of battery cable terminal and has a screw action stem that pushes against the battery post . Tool I think will be about ten bucks..

Does backing soda neutralize battery acid

Yes it does. I refill my battery's. I get the acid from Auto zone. When you throw baking soda on it it will fizz up. That's it neutrilizing the acid. Also works with muradic acid which I use to clean my tanks. Half and half acid and water, tank, 5 gallon bucket, gloves and always baking soda and WD40

I have a 4"x6" pilar candle never worked right.Put in new batteries each week. "Old" ones covered with flakes of battery acid. Cleaned contacts with vinegar -no help. Any ideas? Thanks

to clean acid leaks you use baking soda or sodium bi-carbonate in water solution then clean of with fresh water
vinegar is an acid and acid will not neutralize acid so it will come back when dry
as for the rest it is possible that the soldered joints for the wires are affected and may have to be resoldered or the copper in the wires has also corroded away.

A view use vinegar to flush a radiatorhaving a view use vinegar to flush a radiator with well have you ever heard of

Your question is a little strange, but I'll give it a shot. Vinegar is a mild acid that shouldn't hurt anything in your cooling system as long as you don't leave it in for more than a couple of hours and neutralize it with baking soda after flushing out all of the vinegar that you can.
Many of the granulated radiator flush kits that come with a neutralizer contain oxalic acid which is harsher than vinegar. But why not just get the tried and true flush and follow the directions. See link for an example.

Sam , vinegar and baking form a type of acid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, ,baking soda by it self will neturalize the vinegar ,I'm not sure why you were doing this, no matter ,disconnect BATTERY, flush with pleanty of cold water and baking soda followed by just cold water, if you have compressed air that will help to dislodge water and hair dryer will help to .good luck.

I spilled baby milk and have bad odor need to clean

I would try using baking soda and soapy water. The baking soda will help remove the foul odor. And febreeze auto clips work wonders. You may need to buy the double pack for a spacious interior. Vinegar is also good for removing odors, but then you'd have that smell in the car. If you choose to use vinegar dilute with water. hope this helps.

2003 chevrolet silverado wont start

you need to clean your battery conections, there is likely a lot of corrosion in the positive cable. Put on your rubber gloves and eye protection take out a tooth brush or small wire brush, baking soda, water a small disposable container (butter cup) and an 8 mm or 5/16 inch wrench. disconect the neg battery cable inspect it, remove the "BOLT" it is fitted into the rubber tight but if you push and stretch it it will come out, clean it with the a baking soda and water mix. about 3 table spoons of baking soda to a cup of water, it should be a little thick, but not as thick as toothpaste. scrub till it shines adn rinse with water. do the same for the positive cable, seperate the two cables and clean all surfaces. to reassemble, conect positive side first and neg side last. whala starts every time.
