You can loosen the alternator that should releive the tension on the belt.
When you tighten it again make sure you can only turn the belt 90 degrees then you know you have the right tension.

MAKE SURE KEY IS OFF USE A BUCKET AND TAKE OFF LINES TO THE FILTER YOU WILL LEAK SOME THEN REVERCE THE SAME WAY BACK BUT MAKE SURE THE ARROW IS POINTED TOWARD THE ENGINE ON THE FILTER

This is called the thermostat houseing and once the bolts are out of it and the rad hose is off then simply put the new one on.

You're right; It sounds like fuel delivery, but start with the simplest suspects first.
Change the fuel filter(s) first, and if this doesn't get it, go for the fuel pump.

With these types of issues it is always best to start by flushing out the cooling system and replacing the thermostat. If you get no heat out the vents, that points towards a clogged heater core which usually will need to be replaced.

NOT MUCH INFO TO GO ON... THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE CAM/ CRANK SENSOR.. TAKE DISTRIBUTOR CAP OFF.. REMOVE BUTTON, REMOVE THE COVER THAT COVERS THE INTERNALL GUTS OF DISTRIBUTOR... YOU WILL SEE A FLAT ROUND PEICE THERE THAT HAS A COUPLE WIRES GOING TO IT.. TRY REPLACING IT.. IT IS LIKE THE PICK UP IN A NORMAL SYSTEM

Belt broke that drives the water pump and alternator on my 88 plymouth reliant. another belt in the way, and cant figure out how to get the new belt on.

You can loosen the alternator that should releive the tension on the belt.

Number of fan blades on radiator fan

Two is the correct number. I have an 88 and an 85 and they both have two blades.
