Do you smell antifreeze in the interior? It may be a leak in the heater core system. Does the engine run rough? Then it is a head gasket, if so, you should see more white exhaust than usual.

Renault megane scenic coolant loss

A small leak in the head gasket will cause the coolant to disappear, but will not always be visible steam from the tailpipe.(small leak).A good way to check for this is to remove the spark plugs(keep them in order),and see if one of them is cleaner than the rest.(The coolant will steam clean the plug, and leave a slight greenish hue in some cases). If you do find this, you're looking at doing a head gasket.

You should first try to buy a new cap and new take the cap off while car is hot. The steam will cause the seal not to work anymore. Know from experience.

I had an antifreeze leak so i put stop leak in and it worked but after awile it overheated again. At that time it all leaked out at once. I put more stop leak in it and it seems alrite but im afraid of it...

If there is no visible radiator fluid under the car after siting overnight then the engine is using the fluid likely through a blown head gasket.

1998 cadillac deville leaking coolant, temperature was around 196 and when leaking started temperature has gone as high as 225, what is causing this problem?

This most certainly sounds like a water pump issue. The thermostate is located inside the water pump housing and if the pump is bad you'l lose fluids and need to add every day or so. The temp guage will run hot and often the heater won't warm up. You have even notice fluids on the ground below the front passenger side of the car. Try getting a pressure test first before replacing anything. That's a good place to start the diagnosis.

Coolant disappearing

If your coolant is disappearing most likely you have a coolant leak I would suggest going to a auto-zone or auto-zone like auto parts store and picking up a bottle of stop leak. You should then add it to your coolant and it can stop small leaks in your coolant systems. if this dose not correct the problem I would suggest taking it to a certified auto shop and have them take a look at it.

I hope this helped.

Thank you,

Where can I get replacement carpets (not floor mats)? The behind-the-dash radiator leaked inside.

Pre-made, pre- cut, replacement carpet will not be found new. But you could try a junkyard.
Most auto parts stores (and even Wal-Mart) carry rolls of replacement auto carpet.
