The head gasket part is worth more than the entire truck. How'd you keep a 133-yr old truck from rusting out?

J H. I am not positive, I do not think your 1999 S10 was equipped with a cabin/pollen/AC air filter. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

It sounds like the blower motor resistor has failed. It is under the hood on the passenger side just below the windshield.

Its usually located right above the parking brake

only half way there if you have a tbi check the crank sensor/ cam sensor that is the first line of business on that truck if the crankshaft sensor fails the truck stops dead when you wait a few minutes the sensor re energizes and the truck will work again for a bit antiknock can cause similer problems but not while the truck is running

I'd try your local public library. If they don;t have the service manual there, they can access lots of information thru their "Inter Library Exchange"... OR... stop by your local Chevy dealers part department.
