Where is the fuel pump relay located on 89 ford econo 350 with a 460 motor

Check the fuel pump relay switch. According to a post on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums, the fuel pump relay switch is located under the PDB (Power Distribution Box) . You may need to refer to the wiring diagram to locate it. If you don't have one, you can request it from the same post.

Check the fuel pump cutoff switch. This switch is located behind the firewall and is designed to shut off the fuel supply in case of an accident .

Check the fuel rail pressure regulator. If the fuel pump and the fuel cutoff switch are working fine, then the problem might be with the fuel rail pressure regulator. This is a small can mounted inline with the fuel rail with a vacuum hose attached to a hose barb on top of the unit .

The pump gets it's power from the fuel pump relay under the hood driver side fender well there should be three relais under the plastic cover there is a windshield wiper motor relay a fuel pump relay and i forget the third but swap relays around and see watch you get

looking from the engine from the front, it is on the right side and it is brown...there should be 3 relays there, and as i said it is the brown one at least it is brown on my F150.

they are equipped with a fuel pump reset switch located behind the panel inside the trunk on the drivers side. Try hitting that button.

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank which is in the rear of the car. It's powered by an electric motor. Check the owner's manual for location of fuses and relays.
