The key fob will do nothing i put new batt in and the rear hatch lock will not work at all also wiper quite working and the licence plat light will not go off all this started at the same time i checked the wiring from car to hatch and found nothing wrong
I would suggest visiting the dealer, as that is the only place for a new one. I had the same issue with my fobs. They're not as durable and long lasting as one would think, unfortunately.

Hi Danny.
I would go to O'reilly auto parts (not sure about other parts stores), they have a key fob checker, this will let you know if your fob is working or not. They also have replacement cases that you can put your circuit board in if your fob is bad. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: power locks for rear doors and hatch not unlocking
you have two relays on the interior fuse block one for locking and one for unlocking. Swap them and see if the problem is now such that they will not lock. If so you have your answer.
SOURCE: rear hatch 2005 chevy tahoe is locked & won't open
my 06 tahoe just got this problem...all other doors lock and unlock with the fab and door switch...but the hatch is in permanent locked mode. i cant even unlock the hatch window. why is this happening?
SOURCE: the power door locks stopped
Sounds like body computer is malfunctioning or the module that controls the door locks lost it's program.Disconnect the battery for few minutes then reconnect and check. In some cases this resets the system computer and all starts working. But if that does not helps then problem has to be checked with the power door lock system.Either a power door lock actuator or the power door lock switch.
Usually the most common problems with power door locks are the actuators. They are small electric motors used to lock and unlock the car doors when activated by a switch or remote. Like any electric motor sooner or later it will fail. Replacing an actuator involves removing the interior door panel for access. Some are part of the door latch and some are independent.
Either way, door lock actuators need to be replaced if they are buzzing, working only in one mode or are not working at all. if the problem is with the door lock actuator or just the switch. If a All the door locks, only work when locking and NONE of them work to unlock, then the switch is most likely the cause.
Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this
