This happen to me on my Ford. I was not careful enough connecting the new battery within a certain time period and the truck locked its security system. I had to car carrier it to the shop, where they reset the system. Tow + 1/2hr labor

If you can't repair the problem (replace a sensor or whatever) take both the battery terminals off and touch them together for about 30 seconds, that should turn it off. It may too come back on if there is an electrical problem.
THE POSITIVE TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY. heres apicture to help you this is a titan battery, if you look on the battery you will see a + and a - all batteries have this, itsw located near the terminals, the + is the positive terminal and the - is the negitive terminal.i hope this helps.
