    Front Marker Lights
On most vehicles covered by this manual, the front marker lights are mounted in a lens attached to the headlight bezel (pre-1990) or the one piece headlight bezel/grille assembly (1990 and later vehicles). Replacement usually requires removal of the bezel or bezel/grille assembly for access to the bulb twist socket.

        Disconnect the negative battery cable.
If equipped with a separate headlight bezel, remove the headlight bezel-to-fender screws and the bezel; allow the bezel to hang by the turn signal/marker light wires.
If equipped with a 1-piece bezel/grille assembly, remove the grille assembly and support it on the bumper as you work.
At the rear of the bezel mounted lens, turn the marker bulb socket 1⁄4 turn and remove it from the headlight bezel.
Remove the bulb from the turn signal/marker bulb socket; if necessary, replace the bulb.
To install, use a new bulb (if necessary) and reverse the removal procedures. Check the turn signal/marker light operations

How to change an oil pump on 2002 gmc sonoma 2.2

In most cases no. But you have to loosen the engine enough to raise it up enough to get clearance to remove the oil pan.

Trying to remove starter from 96 GMC Sonoma SLS. Have removed exhaust from manifold but still unable to get starter out from under vehicle

There are vehicles that you have to take the motor mounts off and jack up the engine to get enough clearance to remove parts

P1133 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1
I would have the repair shop see if they either damaged or left disconnected the oxygen sensor for engine cylinder bank one upstream sensor, this sensor would have been disconnected if the oil pan was removed.
