What are common problems with the Cadillac STS 4D Sedan V6

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Is your space bar and Caps Shift broken?

its look like some cable of power or softare issue.....this stv v6 has a mini computer ...look for it and dont forgt to chk power cable,,,,,,

Here is the sensor location on the 2005 STS. My understanding is that on the 2005 it sat over the exhaust cam sprocket and on the 2006 it sits over the intake cam sprocket. That should be no problem as there will only be one to locate on your 2008.

Push up on the Button Once to get it to Stop. The Button is sticking

It should be under the dash on the driver side.
You might find the location in your owners manual.

This might be a shot in the dark, but check for a valet switch, possibly in the glove box. It might turn off the those functions.
