I have a 2002 honda accord I just bought a new battery installed it my self...everytime I hook up the positve wire the horn just blows..I switched the connections thinking I was wrong..the horn still blows...car won't crank...hazards work though...I stumped
Attach the battery cables to the correct positive and negative connections, close the hood, use your remote to lock and unlock the doors and the horn should stop. The vehicle may be in anti theft mode and locking and unlocking the doors with them closed should put the vehicle back into normal mode.
Your radio may show antitheft mode now and the code to return it to normal should be in your vehicle handbook in the glove compartment or attached on a sticker to the side of the glove compartment. It can also be had from a Honda dealer.DO NOT EVER REVERSE YOUR BATTERY CABLE CONNECTIONS.
