Pull out the spark plugs their is probably oil or water in the well surrounding plugs. Cheap eaasy fix for water just dry it out. oil? Replace valve cover gasket .

every car with weaker engine loses it's power after AC is on...
it's more visible ..... your car is 12 years old..... so also engine can be worj out, so that lose of power can be more significant...

hi,i have a similar problem on my ford focus 2001...ill be driving along and the speedo will drop to zero and the battery light will come on.Just had a new alternator as last one was overcharging would the speed sensor cause the battery light to come on? if so ill get the sensor replaced but dont want to if this is not the problem

1 is the car losing power?
2 is the car rough at idle? or slightly over reving.

If so most likely cause for 2 is the air mass sensor, this go's to the air box you can cleran them with carb cleaner and sometimes this will fix it.

you need to see where the temp sender is on the engine,and check the electrical plug ,it may be lose or dirty,make the obvious like battery terminals are tight and you havent washed the engine recently,as water will do this possibly gauge but unlikely

the light means check engine take it to get it looked at by a mechanic and tell him what happens

uplug air metering sensor car should run almost normal but will set check eng, light

hi all,it sounds like ye have a speed sensor fault.they do give problems.replace the sensor in the gearbox,should sort it.
